These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Coinleaf (“the app”), developed by MO DONGLAN (an independent developer, “Xascade”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence
Coinleaf is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA differ, the Apple Standard EULA governs your licence to use the app, and these Terms add app-specific details (such as the subscription terms below).
Coinleaf Pro subscription
Coinleaf is free to use for core bookkeeping. Coinleaf Pro unlocks additional features (such as multi-currency conversion, budgets, and data export) through an auto-renewable subscription:
- Pro is offered on a monthly or yearly basis. The exact price and billing period are shown in the app before you confirm any purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews at the same price and period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's App Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store's terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Coinleaf only for your own lawful, personal bookkeeping, and not to interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the services the app relies on (such as the rate and subscription services).
Your data
Your financial records are stored on your device and remain yours. You are responsible for keeping your own backups (for example, via your device backup or by exporting to a file). How we handle the limited data that reaches our services is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Coinleaf is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. In particular:
- Exchange rates shown in the app are approximate, may be delayed, and are provided for convenience only. They are not a quote and must not be relied upon for trading or other financial decisions.
- Coinleaf is a record-keeping tool, not financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice.
- We do not warrant that the app or its supporting services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xascade will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer’s country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and always subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence.
